Chris and his team were referred to us and we couldn’t be more happy with our first floor renovation including our beautiful new kitchen. Chris is professional, honest, friendly and their workmanship is impeccable. The team showed up on time everyday and communicated every step of the way. Chris and his team made my kitchen renovation a breeze. I had a project manager that was at my house daily during the work and he followed up with emails of what to expect in the next week or two. When there was an issue, it was dealt with immediately and without complaint. I think that's the best thing about CMAC.... they handled problems as if there was no problem... offered solutions quickly and to my satisfaction. Just a really wonderful experience ... I don't know how many people can say that about a remodel!!

CMAC are true professionals. They go above and beyond and do the job right, which is hard to find these days. From the initial project scope to the work itself, Chris and team went above and beyond and treated the job like it was one of their own homes. We decided to live through the kitchen/first floor Reno and the team ensured it was as smooth as possible. They communicated daily, ensured work was getting done right and on time and cleaned throughout. It turned out better than we could have expected and I wouldn’t hesitate to hire them again. Looking forward to hopefully working with them again in the future!

Like most people, I’ve heard the horror stories about contractors. So when we decided to remodel one of our bathrooms, we did our homework and interviewed four companies. The companies that specialize in bathrooms were not in the business of anything but the fixtures themselves…no painting, no lighting (electrical), no floors. That’s when we realized we needed a general contractor. Of those that came to give us estimates, one stayed for all of 5 minutes and was clearly not listening to what I wanted, another never looked me in the eye, one said they’d work up the numbers but never called back…not good signs. Chris Mackin, owner of C Mac Contracting of Point Pleasant came on time, really listened to what we wanted, spent time going over the process and timeline, and came back promptly with his estimates and suggestions for alternate materials to mitigate costs. He and his team, led by Lucas, were professional, polite and always hard working. The project was completed a week early and on budget. We couldn’t be happier! My wife and I recently completed our kitchen/1st floor remodel with Chris and his team. The renovation is something we had planned to do when initially purchasing the home, but due to a pipe burst & water damage, that timeline was expedited. I work with contractors & subs often in my line of work, but due to unexpected timelines (we found out my wife was pregnant) & given current work priorities/projects I had underway, this wasn't going to be a project I could leverage my network & successfully manage. I interviewed many contractors, but Chris stood out amongst the rest. He was extremely professional, knowledgeable, and had a good reputation, most of all he listened. Chris never once pushed any agenda or tried to increase costs/budget. There were no surprises - you can expect full transparency. His goal is to bring your vision to life, while also keeping a reality check when some ideas are exceeding budget. He wasn't the cheapest in terms of up-front estimated cost, but he was the most realistic & honest. Chris and his team knew we had a tight time window and executed on all fronts. They showed up on time, communicated every step of the way, and worked around many obstacles. Chris did a phenomenal job managing his team & subs, and delivering on all his projected timelines. He was extremely patient with us and made himself readily available. Very easy to speak to and work with. He's flexible and takes extreme pride in his work & all those he manages. He's accountable and takes extreme ownership. My wife and I are beyond pleased with the quality of his work & his professionalism. We have recommended him to many already, and would highly suggest anyone who is on the fence or unsure about a contractor, that you put your trust in Chris, you will NOT be disappointed.
